Proudys Astronomy Site

Welcome to Proudy's Astronomy site. This site is a work in progress, but you will find some of my astronomical photos captured using a video camera, plus some interesting applications using Arduino micocontrollers.

My 10" and 5" Newtonian telescopes are controlled over the web using the Arduino based Etherten from Freetronics.  Its a handy capability to have whether its control from home or a remote site. Note that any mount (or any device for that matter) that has a serial connection can be controlled over the web.
