My 10" and 5" Newtonian telescopes are controlled over the web using the Arduino based Etherten from Freetronics.  Its a handy capability to have whether its control from home or a remote site. Note that any mount (or any device for that matter) that has a serial connection can be controlled over the web.

Regularly, the shadow of one of Jupiter's main moons will transit (travel) across its face. The small black dot of the moon's shadow is easy to see, and a spectacular sight indeed!
